Fair questions
Is $15 really the whole price?
Yes. Every feature is included and every business gets all of them — you toggle what you use. The only thing that can add to your bill is texting past your bundled 200 SMS in a month, at 7¢ a message, metered on the same subscription. No activation fees, no per-staff pricing, no processing markup from us (card processing is Stripe’s standard rate, paid to Stripe).
Do you take a cut of my bookings?
No. 0% commission, forever. A client you earned is yours — we think charging you rent on your own regulars is the worst habit in this industry.
What does "first month free" mean?
Your first 30 days are on us, with a card on file. Cancel inside the month and you pay nothing. There’s no separate demo — the trial is the demo, on your real business.
What happens if I leave?
You take everything with you. One click on your Dashboard exports your clients, bookings, and invoices as files you own. Cancel any time; no contracts, no exit call, no hostage data.
Will the price go up once I'm settled in?
$15 flat is the product. We built Penned because we watched every competitor creep their pricing — tiers up, add-ons multiplying, "free forever" quietly dying. We’re not doing that.
